Democratic Design Day 2019
In its fourth edition, Democratic Design Day takes up the theme "Design for Purpose". While awareness of global challenges such as the climate crisis is growing, designers are also putting themselves at the service of the most important questions of our time and presenting their solutions.
The UN's Sustainable Development Goals offer a clear approach to the most pressing challenges facing the global community. We ask ourselves where the SDG is already entering the design and what needs to happen beyond, and we present designers who are pioneering in their field.
The Democratic Design Day 2019 will take place at Volkhaus Basel, on September 27, from 9.45am to 5pm.
