Call for participation: CH @ Vienna Design Week
Switzerland is the guest country at the 2020 edition of the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK. Taking place from 25 September to 4 October, it is Austria’s largest curated design festival, that welcomes over 40'000 visitors to around 200 events per year.
During ten days in autumn, VIENNA DESIGN WEEK proves that Vienna is a “City Full of Design”. Overlooked corners of the city turn into stages for design, both critical and playful approaches, entry-level communication and professional discourse explore new perspectives on the objects around us and design as well as manufacturing processes are revealed often in experimental ways specific to their location.
Pro Helvetia – in collaboration with Design Prize Switzerland – is launching a call for participation for young professional designers to present their design-driven and innovative product or services to the visitors of the Vienna Design Week.
Up to 10 selected Swiss studios will exhibit their work in an exclusive exhibition in the heart of the festival. Additionally, they will benefit from a targeted matchmaking programme and network with potential business partners.
