Zeitraum: 2002 - 2002
I was looking to create an elegant, ergonomic and visually light reading chair that could also be stored/transported in a relatively compact package. After sketching the lines I chose to build it by upcycling pallet wood (aspen) and part of a bookshelf that was being disposed of (mahogany). Further along the lines of sustainability, I chose a biodegradable binder with a natural oil and beeswax for the finish.
