User research, interaction design and usability testing for a teleoperated robotic system in stroke treatment, in cooperation with NanoFlex Robotics. NanoFlex has built a platform on which an interventional neuroradiologist steers a magnetic guidewire through a patient's blood vessels from another hospital entirely. The design was developed through observation of live procedures and iterative testing. It gives the remote specialist and the local team one shared, unambiguous picture of what the instruments are doing and who is in control.
