Open Call Zurich Design Weeks
With Zurich Design Weeks, Switzerland's largest design event is about to form in September 2022. The first edition is dedicated to the theme UNCOVER and unites the following established events and institutions: neue räume, Mode Suisse, Digital Festival & Hack Zürich as well as the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich. Zurich Design Weeks' own productions complement the program of the three-week event. These include Off Spaces throughout the city, landmark projects in public spaces as well as talks, walks and other program items. In total, more than 30,000 visitors are expected.
Off Spaces
The Off Spaces make design in all its facets visible in the city during Zurich Design Weeks. Ateliers, showrooms, design brands and universities of all design disciplines are invited to develop presentations, collaborations or special programs tailored to the event. This is a decentralized, curated format.

Virtual Landmarks
The Virtual Landmarks are urban utopias and interventions developed with new technologies such as augmented reality for specific places in the city. They create visibility in public space and are announced as an open call. A jury will evaluate the submissions and determine the projects for implementation.
