h.i.t.* is a wireless speaker system, tailored to make high fidelity music reproduction accessible to more people. Focusing on flexibility, affordability and repairability, h.i.t.* is a speaker system perfectly adapted to the way we listen to music today and in the future. The two small stereo speakers run on battery power, use a reflective cone to project the music in 360° and are charged by the stationary subwoofer via contact pins. The mainbodies of the speakers are constructed from cylindrical cardboard tubes and are using no glue; instead, they are held together by a snap fit joint or screws; making them repairable and mono-material recyclable.
