Curriculum Vitae

Valentine Ebner is an industrial and fashion designer, she combines two areas of expertise: a degree in industrial and product design, complemented by a master’s degree in social sciences. Her career is marked by a pivotal role as production director at Trend Union / Li Edelkoort in Paris from 1994 through 2004
Today, she teaches at HEAD – Geneva and explores, through her research project The KnitGeekResearch, the interactions between craftsmanship and industry.
Active in the design community, she serves on the board committee of the Swiss Design Association and is developing The KnitGeekProject, an innovative label where knitting, hacking, and design merge to create unique pieces or small-batch collections.
